We are good friends and writing partners with a passion for teaching financial literacy to children.

Thomas is a Certified Financial Planner®with 10 years of experience. He has a passion for creating content about financial literacy for young children.

Krystal is a financial services professional with an undergraduate finance degree and an MBA. Krystal is also the mother of a 3 year old named Sam who is an avid "reader" and loves to learn new things through books.

The book series follows a young  boy named Sam as he learns how to save, invest and grow his money. Books that teach elementary fundamentals and even basic STEM concepts are easy to find. But books on financial literacy, on the other hand, are nearly impossible to come by for babies. There are virtually no books with a financial lens and a black central character available for babies and toddlers. So we wrote one! The books aim to introduce financial concepts super early to young children ages 0-3 years old so that financial conversations become the norm and building wealth becomes the rule for the black community instead of the exception. The books come in a board book format to make them easy for babies and toddlers to control on their own.  Join Sam as he embarks on his early journey to financial responsibility!
